These are some of my High Dynamic Range Images taken with my camera and processed through a variety of imaging software. I really like the surreal or illustrative quality that you can manipulate into. I will never apologize for my liberal use of HDR either :)

"The Lunatic's Lanterns"
February 3rd, 2012

A group of us lunatics went on a nighttime lantern walk walk through the Freetown State Forest and to the legendary Assonet Ledge. It was cold, but not that cold. What was most amazing was that it was bright! Not due to the lanterns but due to the relatively clear sky and the moon overhead. There were actual moon shadows cast from the trees. At one point there was a huge halo around the moon.

We made it all the way to the ledge. It was beautiful. Moon still glowing lighting up everything. More photos to follow of the ledge. This one is the lanterns on a rock that protrudes into the ledge, at the bottom of the ledge.
